Additional Aircraft and Charts
Note that several items from this page have been removed because
they have been incorperated into the new Blue Max Miniatures Rules which
I designed with Phil Hall. Items here are fully compatible with all
versions of Blue Max
An updated Aircraft Characteristics Chart is available in either
compressed postscript form:
achar.ps.Z (17K) uncompressed postscript form:
achar.ps (91K)
or as a GIF file:
achar.gif (22K)
An Early War Aircraft Characteristics Chart is available in either
compressed postscript form:
ewachar.ps.Z (17K) uncompressed postscript form:
ewachar.ps (91K)
or as a GIF file:
ewachar.gif (22K)
An Aircraft Avalability Chart covering the entire war is available in
compressed postscript form as:
avail.ps.Z or uncompressed as: avail.ps It is
also available in GIF form but it is 2 pages so each must be dowloaded
separately as avail1.gif and
avail2.gif
This Combat Chart was supposed to be included in the new version
of Blue Max. It increases the effectiveness
of single gun aircraft slightly while decreasing the effectiveness of
flexible gunnery (observer's guns). It also has information in the
"Things to Know" section about spins and spin recovery.
It is available in compressed postscript
form as: cchart.ps.Z (15K)
or as a GIF file:
cchart.gif (14K)

format (files with a .Z extension) and how to decompress them.
Additional Aircraft Maneuver Schedules
The following aircraft maneuver schedules and statistics were created
with Phill Hall's assistance and according to the designer's notes
provided by him. They are completely compatible with both the boxed version
and miniatures version of Blue Max and may be included in future
versions of the game.
Stats: are
given in this order: Stability / Engine / Wings / Fuselage / Tail / Fuel /
Armament / Max Altitude (+ means may regain Max altitude).

or as a GIF file: f2b.gif

Ray Trochin (trochim@rintintin.Colorado.EDU) has
made several modifications and additions to the rules. Some of these have
been 'Blessed' by Phill Hall and Myself so all of his modifications are worth
a look. You can download the files by clicking here.
