13LL Bradstreet's Blitzkrieg-The Assault on Cadaraqui, 1758

After the great British failure at Ft. Ticonderoga in 1758, Lt. Col. John Bradstreet, with New England and New York troops, crossed Lake Ontario and took Ft. Frontenac at Cadaraqui in just 11 days -- the first British success of the French and Indian War. This lecture is based on the orderly book of Capt. Richard Hewlett and the Diary of Lt. Col. Charles Clinton and examines the colonial force which overcame considerable obstacles of wilderness transportation to execute the raid.

Robert Mulligan is a lifelong wargamer, an 18th century re-enactor and the former military curator of the New York State Museum in Albany, N.Y. He served for seven years as adjutant of The Brigade of the American Revolution.

A history of the Fort at No. 4 and its importance during the French and Indian Wars. Detailing its beginnings in 1740 through the end of the Seven Years War in 1763.

Jeffrey Miller is co-administrator of the Fort at No. 4 Living History Museum in Charlestown, N.H. He has been a restoration blacksmith for 22 years and for the past 10 years has been resident blacksmith and co-administrator at the Fort at No. 4 reconstruction.
